PRIDEPRINT.APP! - JULY 2026 UPDATE

Sooo it has been a hot minute since I wrote. Pride Month was so busy. But now I have crashed after it. I am well relaxed and ready to release the next thing! PridePrint.App! Its just a new website that is something I made for work. We have a printer that we can’t print directly to, so we load PDFs on a USB drive and then print from that. Which is annoying. But one issue has came up always. We use Canva for our designs. The default settings are not ideal for printing. The posters we make with Canva, are not the ideal settings for printing, they are always oversized and when we print, we get a corner of the poster instead of it. So this website, will generate a new PDF with the ideal settings for printing. Addtionally, we make our own buttons, so this website will help you take a bunch of photos and crop them and put them into a PDF that you can print out for your button maker. I am hoping that this will help others who need to do this!

FRESH STARTS & HARD LESSONS - MAY 2026 UPDATE

Happy May! It has been a hot minute — my apologies. The past two months have been a little crazy. I finished my schooling for the year; now it’s the summer break. Exams were brutal. I started a new job at my college, and it’s nice. I’m working at a safe space for students of the LGBTQIA+ Community, and I feel really honored. I feel that no matter who you are, you deserve a space where you can feel safe, and it should not be overshadowed by other people’s beliefs or other communities.

MARCH 2026 UPDATE

Happy March! Today I start this post with whatever I managed to work on, change, or what happened on recently. Currently last day of my reading week, (for thought who don’t know what that means, it’s a little break week after midterm exams for college. It’s meant for catching up on reading or other work left behind, but many just relax) I did pretty okay on my exams, as someone with a learning disablity it’s difficult when it comes to exams, but I think this semester I made some progress on changing how I learn and take notes from my lectures. I have a note-taking accomodation but the software “Messenger Pigeon”, does not work as accurate as I wished it did. Now I record my lectures with a voice recorder on my phone, I like the samsung voice recorder because I find the transcriptions pretty accurate. I record, and transcribe. Then I import the audio and transcriptions to NotebookLM, along with the lecture slides, or whatever matterial that the professor uses in the lectures.

WELCOME TO LIVENTNICK

Every project needs a place to live. LiventNick is mine. I created this space to document what I build, what I break, and what I learn along the way. Most people see the finished product, the working server, the clean website, the stable network. What they don’t see is the trial and error, the misconfigurations, the late-night troubleshooting, and the lessons learned the hard way. This site is where that process lives.
